  • What functionalities use a credit to complete?
    A credit is used when completing an Autofill, Generating a PDF or Exporting completed Test Assembly results.
  • How do I purchase credits after my trial is done?
    You are able to purchase credits directly through the app using the in App Purchases, or if you want a discounted rate you can buy a bulk plan through us.
  • Where can I learn more about the 855 digital test kit?

  • How do I export completed test results?
    You are able to login using your username and password from the app to export test results into a CSV file, follow the steps below to complete an export. Go to https://api.mwmachbackflow.com/users/login Login (must be an account admin) Select the day you would like to export, select request export Link to download test results will be sent to your email (be sure to check junk/spam folder)
  • What is the difference between "Tester" and "Admin" user type?
    Tester - user type is able to only see their own tests through the app and are not able to export test results. Admin - user type is able to see all completed tests through the app and are able to export test results.
  • How is my data protected?
    We use industry-standard encryption to ensure that your data is safe and secure at all times. Our servers are located in secure data centers that are monitored 24/7 to prevent unauthorized access. We take the privacy and security of your data very seriously, and we are committed to ensuring that your information is always protected.   • What are the steps to get my data uploaded to be accessed by the App?
    Provide Data: Provide your assembly data in the required format Data Validation: The excel sheet will be validated and any corrections that are required will be relayed back to the the company to be corrected Data Upload: We will upload the data once the data is validated
  • Why is my test kit lights flashing?
    The test kit power light (The top light that is red when test kit is on and blue when kit is on and connect to a phone) will flash when the battery level is below 20% to alert you that you have approximately 1 hour left of battery.
  • What if I don't have my assembly data digitized?
    You are able to use the test kit and app and add in the assembly information manually as you test assembles. This will allow you to build your database as you test and when you return to an assembly that you manually entered you can then use the app Autofill feature to fill in the data that was entered last time you tested the assembly.
  • What should I do if I get a "404" or "Unauthorized" message on the app or the app isn't working correctly?
    If your app is giving you "404", "Unauthorized", ect. messages or just isn't working correctly, start by logging out then logging back in. If issues still persist contact us.
  • Is the app free to download?
    The app is free to download and there is an included 1 month included trial of the advanced features (Assembly Autofill, PDF Generation, and Complete Test Export). After the one month trial you are able to buy credits through in App Purchases or buy a bulk plan directly from us for a discounted rate, contact us for more info.
  • How do I create an account to login?

  • How does Assembly Autofill work?
    Assembly Autofill works by allowing users to search by address or serial number. The app then searches through preloaded data related to that address or serial number. Once the data is found, users can confirm and update any necessary property and assembly information before beginning the assembly test.
  • What types of phones are supported?
    Both Android and iPhones are supported.
  • Are tablets supported?
    While the app may be able to be downloaded onto an Android or Apple tablet, it was designed and tested on Android and Apple phones. We can therefore be not responsible for a less than optimal user experience on a tablet.
  • What if I go into an area with no or bad cell service such as a basement?
    When a user enters an area where there is no or bad service the app will go into offline mode. The app will save all results locally until service is restored then will sync with the server to upload the assembly test results saved during offline mode.
  • How long can I test with the test kit till the battery will die?
    Under normal usage, the battery will last about 15 hours.
  • What type of testing can the Mid-West 855 perform?
    The 855 is capable of performing all known test procedures including those recommended by: ABPA, ASSE, AWWA, CSA, FCCC and HR-USC, NEWWA and UF-TREEO
  • How far is the range of the app to stay connected to the test kit
    The range is around 15-20 ft, if you walk away in the middle of the test and get disconnected from the kit you are able to reconnect without losing any testing data.
  • Is there any special requirements to capture line pressure?
    You are able to capture line pressure at anytime you are connected with pressure, this is because there is a dedicated line pressure sensor in the test kit.
  • Why is my test kit lights flashing?
