The 3rd Party Submission Status API is designed to enable connected software platforms to check the submission status of backflow test results processed through the MachBackflow ecosystem. This ensures that third-party systems stay synchronized with the latest testing data while maintaining visibility into whether specific test results have been successfully submitted, are pending, or require attention.
API Utilization
Execute API Call
Initiate a secure API request using your assigned credentials to check the submission status of backflow test results. By authenticating with your company’s key, the system validates access and processes the query, ensuring that only authorized users can request this information.
Get Submission status
Retrieve the current submission status of all completed backflow tests linked to your company through a secure API call. This endpoint provides real-time, filtered visibility into whether each test result has been successfully and unsuccessfully submitted into external software tracking systems.
Integrate submission status
Seamlessly integrate submission status tracking into your third-party software platform. This capability allows your system to programmatically access the latest status of each completed backflow test—specifically identifying which results have been successfully submitted and unsuccessfully into external assembly tracking systems.
Steps to Integrate
Remit Integration Fee
Covers access to the API endpoint and includes WTM Solutions’ developer time spent coordinating with your team during integration.
Deploy Integration & Verify Functionality
Once API credentials are issued and endpoints are understood, deploy the integration in your system. Then, run test calls to confirm data is being securely exchanged and functioning as expected.
Go Live
Once submission status tracking is fully integrated and tested, your system is ready to go live. At this stage, your platform will begin automatically receiving real-time submission statuses for all completed backflow tests associated with your linked company
